Living The New Life Part 3

Letting Your Life Shine

Today’s message is taken from Paul’s letter to the church at Colossae. This period of history has some parallels to ours with governments trying to shut down churches through health regulations. In the time period of Paul’s letter it was due to the Romans requiring allegiance to Caesar as the Supreme Being. In our day, “Government” thinks it is the Supreme Being, but we know the Triune God is the only Supreme Being. Paul reminds us that in “Living the New Life” we need to “Let our Live Shine” so others can see the transformation that knowing Jesus as Lord and Savior brings.

Living The New Life Part 2

Supremacy Of Christ

In a world where there many competitors for the title of #1, we need to remember
that Jesus Christ as part of the Triune Godhead is the only true #1.
Join with us today as we look at Paul’s letter to the church in Colossae
and clarify for them and us that Jesus Christ is truly Number One.

Living The New Life

Starting Points Part 1

We are starting a new series today based upon Paul’s Letter to the
Colossians. As we seek to know and serve God more intensely, we need
this reminder about who Jesus is and what He did for us. Why? We need to
tell others about the divine foundation of our new life in Christ.

Encouragement Part 13

Encouragement is one of the best ways to resist Satan’s destructive attacks on us. We want to be faithful to God’s call on us in Christ Jesus and Satan wants us to disgrace God. Encouragement was one of the main personal tools the Apostle Paul used to help the early Christians continue spreading the Gospel.

Maturation part 11
Maturation is also known as growing in spiritual maturity.
We cannot remain as spiritual orphans and change the world.
We need a revival of Godly men and women who can raise up the next generations.
It is not based on doing things, but on being formed by those that know their God
and can share with us from their experiences.

A Prayerful People
Character Under Construction
The Next Step

Prayer changes us through drawing closer to God.

Worship Set

Declaration of Confidence in God’s Protection

No weapon that is formed against us shall prosper and every tongue, which rises against us in judgment, we do condemn. This is our heritage as servants of the Lord and our righteousness is from You, O Lord of Hosts. If there are those who have been speaking or praying against us or seeking harm or evil to us or who have rejected us, we forgive them and, having forgiven them, we bless them in the Name of the Lord. *

Now we declare, O Lord, that You and You alone are our God, and besides You there is no other -a just God and Savior, the Father, the Son and the Spirit- and we worship You!

We submit ourselves afresh to You(today/tonight) in unreserved obedience. Having submitted to You, Lord, we do as Your Word directs. We resist the devil: all his pressures, his attacks, his deceptions, every instrument or agent he would seek to use against us. We do not submit! We resist him, drive him from us and exclude him from us in the Name of Jesus.

Specifically we reject and repel:
– Accidents
– Allergies
– Infirmity
– Infection
– Malignancies
– Pain
– Poverty
– Inflammation
– Viruses
– Every form of witchcraft

Finally, Lord, we thank You that through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross,
we have passed out from under the curse and entered into the blessing of Abraham
whom You blessed in all things such as: **
– Exaltation
– Fruitfulness
– Victory
– Health
– Prosperity
– God’s favor

Amen

April 19, 2020

Starting a new series today titled Connecting With Jesus.
Before we can experience the joys of knowing Jesus as our Lord and Savior we have to realize that He has had His eye on us for a long time.
We usually think that His love started on the cross, but it started in eternity past, read Ephesians 2:8-10 and know that God has plans for you as the object of His love. As believers during this COVID 19 crisis we have to be the leaders that provide hope to our neighbors. If we know the depth of God’s love for ourselves we can share that confidence with those that need to know Him as their Lord and Savior.

Today’s message is from Luke 24:1-12. In this current time of trial we
may be like the first disciples who failed to remember what the words of
assurance that Jesus had told them. Failing to remember can be one of
our problems too. As we celebrate the empty tomb we can remember the
words that Jesus provided to guide us into the next season of God’s
plans. We can be reassured of God’s love and provision for us during
this time by turning to Him in trust and love.

We gathered today at Westview Christian Center to observe the National Day of Prayer that the President had announced. WE read Psalm 91 and prayed against fear and panic. We also prayed for healing and wisdom on how to be the light during dark times. God will Prevail! Today’s message is titled, “Our Role – Witness.” We need to see ourselves as full time ambassadors for Jesus Christ and His Kingdom. Campaigns are good for evangelism, but the everyday Christ-life by His people is the most effective.

March 8, 2020

Today we explore the foundation of all we do and think and that has to be that God is our Rock. Jesus is described as the “Rock of our salvation” and that provides the solid foundation by which we examine all that we do as witnesses of His transforming power.

March 1, 2020

Today was the first Sunday of March and it was a great service! Emma Van Iwaarden testified about God’s healing by our Lord due to prayer at a Women’s Conference. “Witness to the World” is the title for the message. In today’s message by Pastor Allen Causey we explore the Fundamental Beliefs of the Assemblies of God, Number 9 through 16. We need to know the truths that we use as a basis for ministry and mission. We want to expand God’s influence in our area by sharing the Good News of life with Jesus through the Holy Spirit’s power.

She is also the Presbyter for the Southern Utah Section of the Rocky Mountain Ministry Network of the Assemblies of God. We also described some of the 16 Doctrines that make us unique as a congregation. Having right Biblical beliefs will help stay true to God’s plans of expanding His Kingdom.

January 26, 2020

Today Pastor Allen Causey shares with us the 5 Factors that enable us to share the Good News and fulfill the Great Commission. In order to be God’s agents for growing His Kingdom, we need to be whole heartedly focused on following Him.

Growing God’s Kingdom requires us to examine our hearts and turn the hard places, rocky soil and thorns in to good soil to grow the powerful seed of God’s Word. Join us today as we look at Part B of last week’s message on how we can change our hearts for God’s glory and expand His Kingdom.

January 12, 2020

In the second part of the series, “Growing God’s Kingdom ” we are going to look at the “Soil Types” that are described in Matthew 13:1-9. Beginning a new series exploring the Kingdom of God. Using the parable of the sower from Matthew 13 and Luke 8 to discover how God wants us to embrace His rule and reign. “Wise Men Still Seek Him” is the title and topic of today’s message. As we get ready for 2020 we need to understand our great God and how He works in the lives of individuals. Join us to get a glimpse of how God led the Magi to the home of Joseph, Mary and the Christ child and how he can influence your life. Blessings to you for the coming year, it is going to be a great one!

The most important thing is to reflect on the story of Christ’s appearing as a baby in Bethlehem. Blessings to you in Christ Jesus during this season and all next year!

December 15, 2019

Today is when Westview Christian Center has their Christmas Party. We usually have a family dinner on the third Sunday, but today we combined the dinner with a Christmas Celebration. Pastor Emma shares today on how to approach Christmas from a pure heart and avoid family conflict. Unity in Christ, not uniformity is the key to Christmas celebrating with peace.

December 8, 2019

The best gifts are the ones that come from our heart. God has given us great gifts to share with Him and with those around us. Today we look at some of those prophecies and promises and their fulfillment, as well as make some verbal declarations of our trust in God as our Lord and in Jesus Christ as our Savior. Join us and reflect on the Truth that came into our world in Jesus Christ.
